Writing Workshops

I’m teaching a one-night memoir writing workshop at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, July 1, 6:30-8:30. We’ll do some writing exercises and talk about how to start your own blog! Etc. Mothers Who Write Events

“Re-Inventing the West” — and writing about it. On July 22 and 29, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will offer a free two-part workshop focused on its new exhibit about the West.  Instructors Amy Silverman and Deborah Sussman Susser and students will tour the exhibit with curator Claire Carter, then write about it. Registration is required; email SMoCArsvp@sccarts.org.

The next Mothers Who Write workshop begins September 2 in Scottsdale, and runs for 10 weeks. Registration began July 1 and will be handled by phone; contact Lauren Chambers at 480-874-4641.
