Very rare in humans. I first saw it in a the movie “A Boy and His Dog” after the book by the same name. The dog has complete heterochromia.

I have the same thing. Though my eyes are so dark in color you can’t tell (dark green and brown)

David Bowie has a blown pupil/injured eye, not heterochromia. Demi Moore has it as well.
