You mentioned encouraging Sophie with her reading this summer. Most libraries in Maricopa County are holding a summer reading program where you get 1 point per minute of reading. Even if Sophie doesn’t complete an entire book there are still fun incentives for the journey including a free book of her choosing once she hits 500 points. Much of the program is online.

Adults can sign up, too. I just did right before checking in here to see what Sophie has been up to. You probably already know about the program but wanted to mention it just in case.
