Have you heard of The Sparkle Effect program (http://www.thesparkleeffect.org) for middle schools and high schools? I saw it on the news a while back. I think it sounds fantastic.

And I agree with your mom, I think cheerleading will be fun for Sophie.

And it will get her ready for cheerleading in middle school and high school

I love it all. The over thinking (can’t relate to that at all HAHA), the charged with the happiness of two girls.
Parenting is so fraught, and so much of it involves getting over our own stuff and baggage (easier said than done, of course).
I can’t wait to hear about this new adventure. I also don’t doubt that Sophie will probably have more fun than anyone in the history of cheerleading. Good for her!
