As I’ve said before, Kate has Turner syndrome and takes growth hormone in the form of a daily injection. She had confided all this in a “friend” because we’ve always taught her that this is nothing to feel bad about. Of course I was what I refer to as “ripshit” mad and wanted to call the lovely mom and tell her what an unlovely daughter she was raising. Kate convinced me to let her handle it. She spoke to the girl at school, and when I asked her what she said she explained, “I told her that she should be ashamed of herself for trying to hurt someone else’s soul”. It seems she is pretty good at taking on the “bully” herself! Of course her brother suggested “one hard punch to the temple” would take care of things. Him…I need to work on!
