This one in particular, because there is no reason to discourage any child from dreaming about what they want to be when they grow up. Sophie may well be a teacher ( I LOVED the line about how she already is), but next week she may want to be a nurse, or a ballerina, or a lion tamer.

Whatever she does for a living I believe you are raising a sweet and kind, thoughtful girl.

Basically, he says it’s good to tell our kids that everyone has certain talents and gifts and it’s their job to figure out how to best use those.
