I am not a group person but I remember the first time I sat and talked to another parent of a child With DS and it was such a relief! But even still to find kindred spirits is a real blessing.
And of course being at virtual arms length is easier for shy ones like me
Sophie’s expression does look like the cat that ate the canary! They are adorable together.

I could go to support groups for people addicted to support groups. And yet the epilepsy support groups are very hard to find in Phoenix. I have to get my kicks from online message boards for parents of kids with epilepsy.

(And they do make a cute couple.)
