It IS the cheekbone/eye. I am blanking on her name right now, but people often say my daughter (who also has DS) looks like this local news celebrity (a beauty). I know what you mean about it feeling a little funny, but DS doesn’t translate to less than beautiful. I am sure you know that and don’t mean to suggest it does. But even TRADITIONAL beauty. Georgia looks SO much like her father and her typical brother at times, I mean, she shares more chromosomes with them than not. It only makes sense to me that she would.

Also. Have you ever seen Conny Wenk’s blog? She is a German photography and she often takes pictures of kids with DS (including her own beautiful daughter). I am floored by the beauty of the people she captures. FLOORED. Like, runway, fashion, beauty, floored.

Why would you think there wouldn’t be a family resemblance? One thing my daughter has is beautiful skin and coloring that people often remark on- many beauties are exotic and I think many children with DS have a kind of exotic beauty. I think Kate Hudson could have DS, I actually see what they mean? I’ll look for a picture.
