When Ricki was in playschool the year she was 5, the school was located in a well-fenced in enclosure. Never-the-less, one day at the end, she managed to slip out, crossed a busy street (I HOPE someone crossed her), and walked home, crossing another two streets (one tiny, the other moderate). I had been just a few minutes late. Meanwhile, we were all searching for her.
Well, I learned that day that Ricki really is as independent as I suspected, and that I could not afford to be even a moment late!!!!!!
