I’ll have to keep an ear out for the Sarah McLachlan version. I only heard that song quite recently as an adult, when my husband rented out the original Muppet Movie – and, like anyone not made of stone, I teared up a little to hear it sung by Kermit the Frog.

Now I’m going be grinning for the rest of the afternoon.

Rainbow Connection was my favorite song when I was in grade school. The Kermit version of course. I even sang it to get into the school choir. I sounded horrible but they accepted me anyway.
