Sophie is beautiful and I think it’s brilliant that you are encouraging her individualism. So many parents have trouble letting go and for a lot of our youngsters it’s that that is the biggest obstacle in their development. If you continue like this I .see big things ahead for Sophie.

I heard your piece on NPR this afternoon. As cliche as it is to say (and embarrassing, frankly, because I know I can do better than this), I laughed and cried my way through it for more reasons than I can possibly write in this teeny, tiny space. Suffice to say, I’m a mom.

I’ll be stalking you from now on. I mean that in the nicest, most effusive “gee, I wish I could write like you” kind of way.

Sophie looks adorable. Leah has a permanent wedgie from underwear on backwards and she swears she knows it’s wrong but she chooses to wear them that way.
Can’t wait to hear the radio spot.
